Wisconsin Heritage Online Selection Criteria
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning (DPI) worked in partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS), the Wisconsin Federation of Museums (WFM), and Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS) to request $39,663 for a statewide planning grant as part of the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Connecting to Collections program. The planning grant is intended to engage institutions with responsibility for collections stewardship within a state in consultation and planning for ways to address the Heritage Health Index recommendations most relevant to Wisconsin. The partner organizations worked with the Midwest Art Conservation Center to conduct a survey, facilitate focus groups, and develop recommendations and a final report.
